nice things about us.

You will find the musical dynamic of these songs to be a rhapsodizing deluge of beauty. The imagery these songs impute is vivid, lyrics aside. This album could easily hold the attention as an instrumental piece alone."
–Argue Job
If you don't know Leisure Suit by now, you should. The four piece genre straddling band sits somewhere on the more melodic edge of the post-rock spectrum. The result is a highly texturized, misleadingly palatable sound.
–Mosaic
Their songs were both loud and quiet at the same time, both flowing and crashing. Simple riffs and beats crescendoed effortlessly into something far more complex than the sum of their parts. Probably one of the coolest moments in the show was The Whale Song, during which Brooks pulled out a drumstick and bowed it across the strings of his guitar to create an ethereal, haunting noise strangely similar to the sound of the song’s namesake.
–Scene in the Dark
They put on the type of performance I felt fortunate to be a part of. Even though everyone was seated it still felt alive. There were times where they produced sounds that made me feel like I was watching large icebergs melt at race car pace, captured by the slight hands of time-lapse cinematography.
–Sound on the Sound
The best way I can describe them would be if Modest Mouse and Explosions in the Sky had a lovechild that grew up listening to Joy Division. Sounds pretty good, right?
–Red on Black
